We feel fortunate that all our clinics have reopened as of October 14 and are ready to serve our patients! Our teams have worked tirelessly—setting up satellite internet, gathering essential supplies, and even installing portable restrooms—to ensure we can continue providing care to our communities. We’re here for you, stronger than ever!

We thank our Hopscotch Team members for their tireless efforts to get back to serving our patients and communities. Our clinic in Burnsville is ready to re-open tomorrow and has added tent space and additional supplies so it can temporarily welcome patients from our neighboring Spruce Pine clinic. Several other Hopscotch clinics have also re-opened, and it’s all thanks to our incredible team!

Today marks the start of National Physician Assistant Week, a time dedicated to celebrating the exceptional contributions of our Physician Assistants. Given the recent events surrounding Hurricane Helene, we recognize that this week is not typical for many of us. Your dedication and resilience are appreciated now more than ever. Hopscotch Primary Care owns and operates 11 clinics in Western North Carolina. Our mission is to transform lives in rural communities through accessible and proactive value-based care. Our 160+ team members and their loved ones in Western North Carolina are reeling from Hurricane Helene’s shocking devastation. This relief fund is intended to provide modest financial support for Hopscotch employees impacted by Hurricane Helene. We hope to support living/family expenses (e.g. temporary housing), replacement/repair of personal possessions, and/or home repairs or rehab for our team members. Each day, the Hopscotch team generously cares for hundreds of patients. They are known in their communities for delivering an exceptional patient experience and feeling like “family” to the patients they serve. In attendance was an array of healthcare professionals and groups aimed to educate and provide services to seniors in the community.
