At Mantle, we strong believe in Partnerships as a growth channel. These relationships are the lifeblood of this ecosystem – they’re what makes this an ecosystem rather than a random assortment of apps. With the rise of lead sharing enablement tools, Partnerships teams have had the tools they need to enable co-selling directly with partners and determining partner fit for co-marketing, but… They’ve always been a pain to set up and configure, and they’re totally disconnected from where the rest of the company’s work happens. We set out to solve this with Mantle Partnerships, and we’re excited to be welcoming the first users in to the tool now. It’s easy: upload assets for our partners to leverage, connect with partners, configure sharing, share leads, get intros, make money. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eabQ4h3H

Mantle Flow 🤝 Mantle Email ... but more. What if you could automate ... anything? Not just your marketing, but also your operations. Send anything. Tag anything. Assign anything. *Anything* anything. Use any app event or subscription event to trigger any flow with zero configuration – then expand triggers to include *any* usage event you define. Then, take action on that trigger by sending emails populating custom fields, adding tags, assigning ownership. What started as a campaign builder for Email became the heart of automation inside Mantle. ... and we're just getting started. We're hungry to build out more triggers, more actions, and more options to automate every workflow you need.

We had a blast last week announcing a huge slate of features powering growth for our partners at Mantle. In case you missed it: the co-star of the show, Mantle Email. We knew two things when we started building Mantle Email: 1. We hated every email design tool we had used. We thought we could create a design tool that made it simple to build and maintain as many emails and campaigns as you needed to grow your business. 2. We already had the data platform required to make a plug-and-play experience for Shopify devs that nobody else could. We think Mantle Email succeeds on both of these fronts, and we're thrilled with how many people have already started using it. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eXe6fGiW

We've shipped a lot of stuff recently about understanding user behaviour inside your app, but we've also been working on helping you understand how they got there in the first place. Enter: Mantle's Funnel report. Probably the combination most powerful + easiest to use funnel reporting in existence anywhere. Because we're built Shopify-first, Mantle comes out of the box with all the Shopify-specific funnel events you'd expect, like "Add App Button Clicked", plus all the Shopify-specific billing events like frozen subscription. You can take it even further by defining your own funnel events for any important action users take once inside your app. Track as many of these events as you want in one journey, giving you a crystal clear view of acquisition through activation and retention, all in one report.

It’s really hard to build a great Shopify app – it’s even harder in the dark. Getting people in the door is one thing, but if you’re thinking about activation and retention, you need to understand how your customers are using your app and their path to value. Last week we talked about Mantle Pixel – pretty cool to easily be able to see what parts of your app customers are looking at. But if you want to go a level deeper… Check out Usage Events. We originally built Usage Events to power usage-based billing, but we realized early on that they were just as valuable for driving customer insights. It’s easy – from the Mantle dashboard, define events, and then use the Mantle API with your app to trigger those when something happens. Let’s say you have a Live Chat app. You might use Usage Events to define an event called Conversations that you increment whenever the user handles a live chat, letting you easily track usage for analytics or billing purposes. You might use Funnel Events to track the completion of important actions, like completing a product tour or configuring an important setting. Then, those Events can be viewed in Mantle reports to finally shine a light on what your customers are doing and when… Where the falloff happens, or when the “Aha!” moment is (let’s optimize for this) And like everything else, you can drill down and see this data across specific segments

Mantle is the CX hub for your business. When you’re talking to a customer – on a call, through a ticket, live chat, you name it, there’s nothing more annoying than going digging for the info you need to understand them and their issue. We’ve brought everything you need in to one view. See everything: When they signed up, how long they’ve been around, what they’re paying you , everything they’ve ever paid you. Points of contact – general, finance, engineering. Always know who to reach out to. Account owners – who, on your side, works with this customer? Who was their Sales contact? Account manager? Track it all. Shopify data – what Shopify plan are they on? When’s their billing date? Do they have any outstanding app credits? Issue one with one click. Which of your apps do they use? What plans are they on? Have they left a review? Usage events – how are they using your app? Custom events – track anything you want, from anywhere, all the time. Which competitor did they migrate from? Where did they hear about your app? Define these custom fields, then update them automatically with the Mantle API. Use other tools in your CX stack? Easily define custom actions that take you directly to that customer, in that tool. There’s no tool that captures everything you need to know about a customer in one place like we do. Dare you to find something better – if you do let us know and we’ll destroy them.

Lots of conversation and confusion about Shopify Partner payouts last week! Billing through Shopify has a ton of advantages, but it does have a downside: you don’t always know how long it will take for money to hit your account after you charge a customer. The date a specific customer approves the charge, the day that customer pays their Shopify bill, and those dates in relation to your Shopify Partner payout timing all play a role. One of the most common questions from new developer is just that – when will I actually get paid? Enter: Mantle’s Billing Cycle report. We built the Billing Cycle report for exactly this – you can easily see, across your entire customer base, the time between when you charge them and when they actually pay Shopify. Then, our Shopify Payouts report helps you see your next and upcoming payouts from Shopify, giving you insight in to how this all rolls up in to your next payment. Cash flow is king, and Mantle reporting helps you finally understand it.

Context is everything. It’s nice to see a rise in a metric – we all like to see numbers go up. But it’s another thing to understand why. With everything going on in your business, it can be hard to keep track of changes, and then understand how those changes are impacting your business. We built Journal to help solve this problem. With just a few clicks, it’s easy to add journal entries for actions you take around your business – pricing changes, new placements in the App Store, modified search keyword targets, etc. – and then see a log of everything you’ve done recently. Those entries are overlayed as notations on graphs throughout Mantle, so you can see the positive and negative impact.

Reviews are the lifeblood of any Shopify app. For most developers, the impact of reviews is simple: get reviews, grow. Don’t, shrink. We’ve built a bunch of features to make getting and managing reviews seamless and easy whether you’re a founder, marketer, or CX leader. 🗻 First, the foundation: our Reviews screen. See all the reviews for your app, and filter across everything you’d want. Especially cool? Filter by edited reviews to see those 1 stars you managed to flip to 5 stars, you all-star 🗻 Mantle automatically attributes reviews to customers in the background by matching the Shop name that left the review against your customer list. In the few cases where we can’t detect a match, we let you connect the review to a shop with a click 🗻 Want to send a campaign to folks likely to leave a review? Hit your app’s customer list and filter it by users who haven’t left a review plus other value signifiers and use that segment in your efforts 🗻 Hopping on a call with a customer, or helping someone in support? See their review status right where all their data is in their customer profile. If they haven’t left a review, point copy the link to leave a review with a single click Bonus: Slack notifications for reviews, searching through reviews for keywords, and more coming soon. Here’s to more 5 stars 🥂 want to see all this and more in action? Drop a comment and we'll show you around.
