Okay, I have to admit something.. Sales is hard. Who knew?! Top 3 things I've learned leading sales for High Tide Co as we enter our next phase of growth 📈 1) Running #worldclass sales cycles requires so many skills I've not always appreciated historically. Soft skills, curiosity, listening, documenting, organizing, updating CRM, and leading with empathy. At times it feels like you have to be a 🦄 if the bar is truly World Class. 2) It's not about you. It's the customer story that matters. Nobody cares about your consulting firm or clients' logos that aren't references. The client's story is the only one that matters. 3) Authenticity matters more than ever. People want to buy from people they trust, not the used car salesperson we've all come to loathe. Being authentic is a differentiator in today's markets. Respect and appreciation to those in Sales, I see you and finally understand how much goes into it beyond the Dashboard I look at 🤣
