Hobas Pipe Weighs in on How Cities Can Future-Proof Their Water Infrastructure Canada's recent water main breaks reveal critical vulnerabilities. A recent survey revealed that 9.8% of large transmission pipes and 13.4% of small water pipes are in poor or extremely poor condition. These statistics paint a stark picture for cities like Calgary and Montreal, which have already experienced significant water main failures this year. As cities grapple with aging infrastructure, the urgent need for more proactive, data-driven maintenance becomes clear. While complete replacement may seem like the only option for deteriorating pipes, we support the call for proactive rehabilitation and targeted maintenance. Using modern materials, like Hobas FRPM pipes, allows for extended service life, superior performance, and minimal maintenance, which translates to cost savings for municipalities facing significant budget constraints. At Hobas Pipe, our corrosion-resistant FRPM pipes offer a solution for cities to future-proof their systems with longer-lasting, durable materials. Take a proactive step in addressing how your city can future-proof its water infrastructure. Request a Lunch-n-Learn or Facility Tour, and discover how our cutting-edge FRPM pipe solutions can help you future-proof your systems and avoid costly failures. https://buff.ly/3zytTln Read the original article: https://buff.ly/4gH8CHB . . .
