Don Essenberg was honored by his family and former employees from Universal Furniture and Legacy Classic |Modern Furniture with an inscribed brick in the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Pathways of Honor. Don passed away in September 2023. A graduate from Appalachian State University, Don started in the industry as a furniture sales rep. He quickly moved into management positions including vice president posts at Magnussen Home Furnishings and Universal Furniture, and president at Legacy Classic. What a lovely way to recognize his contributions to the industry.

The Tell Us Your Story video booth was introduced last April, to encourage industry professionals and consumers to share their experiences within the home furnishings industry.
