Meet the Gonzalez Hernandez Family. Juan Francisco (58) works in agriculture in his village, for a salary of Q300 ($40) per week. Maria (55) does not work outside of the home she cares for their 2 kids who are 15 and 8 years old. They have been together for 10 years. Thanks to your donations we built them a concrete home with a safe metal door and concrete floors. They also received a wood-saving stove, a bunk bed, and a water filter. Meet Alex Waidley "Alex has an affection for the Eastside of Los Angeles and a passion for people experiencing the sanctuary of home. She grew up in Glendale and now resides in South Pasadena and knows North-East Los Angeles like the back of her hand (which has exactly 1 freckle).
