🌿 Shining a Light on Alzheimer’s Awareness 💜 At Home Instead, we're deeply committed to raising awareness and challenging the stigma around Alzheimer's disease. This mission is personal to us—Alzheimer's impacts nearly 7 million people in the U.S. alone, and we’re dedicated to helping families navigate this journey with dignity, support, and care. The collective Home Instead network across the U.S. has raised over $5 million in the past 16 years of their participation in the National Team Program for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. During our annual Walk to End Alzheimer's week, we were reminded of the power of community. Here are some inspiring highlights: 🚶♀️ Collective Action: Our team logged over 547,000 steps, with one team member going above and beyond, walking 92,000 steps! 🧠 Education: We held educational sessions on Alzheimer's 101, brain health, and caregiving insights from our Care Pro of the Year, Jackie McLean. 💟 Purple Spirit: Team members wore purple and displayed virtual backgrounds to show solidarity. We’re proud to support the Alzheimer's Association®, but our support doesn’t stop there. Our Care Pros are trained in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, providing comfort and support to families nationwide. If your family needs guidance or resources, we’re here for you.
