🌟 Join us in recognizing World Alzheimer's Day 💜 At Honor, we’re committed to raising awareness and challenging the stigma around Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. This cause is close to our hearts, and our recent annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s Week highlighted how we can come together to support individuals and families impacted by this disease. A few spotlights from our week of action: 🚶♀️ Our employees collectively walked over 547,000 steps to show solidarity, with one employee logging an impressive 92,000 steps! 📚 We hosted three impactful educational sessions, covering topics such as Alzheimer's 101, brain health, and caregiving tips from our exceptional Care Pro of the Year, Jackie McLean. 💜 Team members embraced the purple spirit, donning purple and using purple backgrounds during virtual meetings to show support. We’re proud to support the Alzheimer's Association® in their mission to end Alzheimer’s. Let’s continue to shine a light on this cause and work toward a world without Alzheimer's!💪 #WorldAlzheimersDay #ENDALZ #Walk2EndAlz #ShowYourPurple #Honor #HomeInstead

Every year, our Product, Engineering and Data teams host the “Honor Hackathon” - a week-long event that brings employees from our different departments together to solve problems impacting our business in a creative and collaborative way. As part of this year’s Hackathon, Preeti Kaur, our EVP Head of Engineering & Data interviewed Honor Board Member, Marc Andreessen about the importance of innovation culture and having an entrepreneurial mindset. Preeti and Marc touched on "start up energy" for established companies, portfolio investments within a company as it relates to risky vs. safe bets, failures and setbacks, GenAI and robotics, some predictions for the in-home care industry, and we couldn't have a session with Marc and not get some great book recommendations (!). We're so grateful for leaders like these two, who can energize and inspire our team through a powerful conversation.

Honor Co-Founder and CEO Seth Sternberg pulled no punches at the Home Care Innovation Forum: "Technology's better at handling the heterogeneity of humans than humans are themselves." Technology shouldn't be a tool you utilize on the fringes of your operations. It should be the core of what you do. Simply dabbling in it is risky, he said. Whether it's AI, robots, or other forms of technology, the future is here -- and it's evolving fast. But here's the kicker: It's all about creating a better HUMAN experience. Collaboration between home health and personal care providers is gaining traction as a way to add operational value and convenience and ensure the highest level of care for clients. At the Home Care Innovation Forum, Margaret Haynes explained that breaking down silos in the at-home care ecosystem is a no-brainer. “It’s not a competition.
