Why Instant Payments Matter: ● Immediate payment confirmation for the payer ✅ ● Instant availability of funds for the recipient 💰 – which will offer developments typically for e-commerce platforms ● Zero credit risk—payments are final and irrevocable 📈 – which differs from TWINT settlement ● Real-time account balances for better planning and budgeting 📊 Key Milestones: ● August 2024: Instant payment reception mandatory for larger banks ● End of 2026: Applicable to all banks   Legal & Compliance’s angle: While instant payment offers commercial opportunities, it relays on ensuring legal and compliance’s framework are efficiently planned.
