They are stackable and are designed to move from truck to rail to barge or air cargo in the same "box". They can be stacked and stored full of cargo & ready for delivery or empty and ready for use on any flat surface anywhere around the world... and beyond. They can be moved by forklift or crane from truck to rail to barge without the need to pump the fluid from tank to tank like conventional tank cars require. This streamlined process not only increases safety it also dramatically reduces the cost to transport dangerous goods. Honeycomb Cargo solutions are designed to hold the hazardous cargo in subsections within the container which has a shock absorbing material surrounding the segments that acts as a shield against sudden force. This design allows the system to withstand damage due to train derailment or truck rollover so the segmented hazardous material does not leak, spill or explode.
