Our vision is to permanently transform lives and communities by ending homelessness.
About us
HOPE Atlanta is one of Georgia’s longest-standing nonprofit agencies dedicated to ending homelessness and hunger in our communities. With special programs for veterans, people living with HIV/AIDS, food-insecure people and families, and people at-risk of becoming homeless, we apply a holistic 1-1 approach to help clients secure the housing and resources they need to achieve self-sufficiency and thrive. We’re working to end long-standing misconceptions about poverty, hunger, and homelessness, elevating our clients’ voices and stories to bring increased attention and urgency to interconnected (and alarmingly widespread) issues of housing insecurity, hunger, and racial injustice. Will you join us?

We’re continuously in awe of our community and the many groups organizing to spread Hope! 🙌 On Tuesday alone, we received over 900 in-kind donations to help clients facing #homelessness and food insecurity. 🧡 A big shoutout to longtime supporter Dunwoody United Methodist Church, which donated 705 SuperPacks assembled by children attending Vacation Bible School! 🎒 The Atlanta Apartment Association rallied to provide 200 hygiene kits during its summer community service project.🪥 These donations make a big difference in the daily lives of our unhoused clients. We can’t thank you enough for your generous support! 🙏 cc: Julio Carrillo Sarina Marsh, LMSW
