  • Today, we had the privilege of attending a reception at JMCGH for West Tennessee Healthcare's Heart Recovery Program. We were able to hear from several physicians as well as a local patient who shared his incredible story of how the Impella heart pump saved his life. This reception was a celebration of the patients and families throughout West Tennessee who have benefited from the Impella device and also of the hardworking healthcare providers who have cared for these patients. Thank you to Abiomed, the company that makes the Impella device, for sponsoring the event!
