What a pleasure to host members of Joyfully Centered at our Dementia Care and Education Campus. Hospice of the Valley Dementia Program Director Dr. Maribeth Gallagher shared best practices in skilled and compassionate dementia caregiving. She also put the group through an eye-opening exercise to simulate the challenges of living with the brain changes caused by dementia. We’d love to give your group a tour and educational session. We're in awe of the National Charity League - Sonoran Centennial Chapter. They have been busy baking treats for three Hospice of the Valley inpatient care homes — Levine Home, Sherman Home and Eckstein Center. Plus, they made 120 unique cards, 15 lap blankets and 10 heart pillows for our patients. Wait, there's more! They painted 120 rocks and put together 100 children's goody bags. Thank you for making a difference in so many lives! #loving #caring #generous

Target of Fountain Hills has such loving employees! They returned to Eckstein Center, our inpatient care home in Scottsdale, to make another luscious meal for patients, families and staff. This time, the menu featured baked mac and cheese, barbeque meatballs and a banana cream pie dessert. Thank you for your wonderful gifts of time and talent! Can we get the recipes? #T1432 #teamtarget #volunteering
