"Local women's organization YWCA Greater Green Bay is hosting a week of events in recognition of the Week Without Violence, a national campaign dedicated to ending violence against women and girls. The event began Monday and will continue through Oct. 26." "The week will end on Saturday with an all-day empowerment event, Advocacy Self-Defense Boot Camp, hosted by House of Hope and Advocacy Queen. The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the YWCA, 230 S. Madison St., and will focus on gaining advocacy tools and self-empowerment to take control of your future."
