It's #TeammateTuesday! Meet Deputy Mendez with the Harris County Sheriff's Office at TranStar. He helps stranded motorists get safely off freeways. During Hurricane Beryl, he assisted a Houston Police Department Commander involved in a crash. He got the Commander to a nearby HPD station, worked the crash scene, and helped another nearby stranded motorist at the same time! HPD partners said the following: “The professionalism and dedication to duty demonstrated by Deputy Mendez during adverse weather conditions should be commended”.
