Advancing carbon capture in Australia >> https://bit.ly/4kQ0cPQ Momentum is building for large-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) in Australia. InCapture and its joint venture partners, SK earthon Australia and Carbon CQ, are driving forward efforts to assess secure, long-term CO₂ storage offshore. To support this initiative, Halliburton has been awarded technical assessment work to evaluate storage potential within the 6,500 km² G-15-AP permit area. In addition, we’ve signed a collaboration agreement with the project partners to help advance the goal of launching a commercial-scale CCS project by the end of the decade. “We are collaborating with InCapture on this groundbreaking project, bringing together the combination of our experience and innovative approaches to help with this important initiative,” said Martin White, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific, Halliburton.
