About us
Hub4Food – Atlantic Food Innovation Hub aims to enhance the research, development, and innovation capacities of the food industry and research and technology organizations in the Atlantic Area. It focuses on promoting the development of new and improved food products, particularly of marine origin. Hub4Food will support the adoption of new technologies and processes to boost sustainability and competitiveness in the Atlantic food sector, while also improving support services for businesses, particularly SMEs. The project will deliver a technological roadmap outlining the innovation and growth potential of the Atlantic food industry, an R&D&I program to test and validate advanced technologies in collaboration with SMEs and technology centers, and a service program targeting companies across the food sector, with a special focus on innovation. Hub4Food will also involve initiatives to engage citizens, fostering collaboration between science, administration, and society. Hub4Food is a transnational initiative led by Clusaga, in collaboration with 10 organizations from France, Spain, Ireland, and Portugal. It is funded by the Interreg Atlantic Area 2021-2027 program, with a total budget of approximately €3 million, running from January 2024 to December 2026.
