Had an absolute blast speaking at the ADFO Summits in Abu Dhabi today. I spoke about insights on GenZ, our business at Hunch and how I plan to manage my family office investments. This was my first speaking experience in Abu Dhabi, and it was a pleasure sharing the stage with Robert Marcus - who spotted the tech behind Siri before it become a thing, Scott Law - who is redefining VC investing at Quadri Ventures, Aaron Weaver, CFA - who is big on mental health investments and of course Nick Ayton - ADFO summit chair. Abu Dhabi is taking center stage as the fastest growing financial hub with some of the best minds coming together from the US, India and Europe. It was great to see sovereign funds, VC funds, PE firms, family offices and startups - all of them coming together under one roof. I spoke at length about AI, web3 and how both of them are being deployed in our day2day work at Hunch. I met quite a few people who knew about Hunch already, so that was great to see! If you’re thinking about where to start your next business while enjoying one of the best quality of life in the world - UAE would be among the top 3 places to be in! #adfo

Today, I stumbled upon a post from a user at Hunch that made us all go ❤️ It is so satisfying to see users leaving a note of love behind even if they are taking a break from the app. The emotions expressed by the user revolve around 'happiness, positivity, warmth, good vibes'. These emotions are what we build for, what keeps us ticking despite all the odds. Over the last few quarters, we've done several off-app surveys asking questions around the emotions our users feel when they think about Hunch. It's phenomenal to see >80% respondents choosing happiness as the prime emotion they experience on the app. This intangible 'happiness' emotion is leading to the metrics that we're seeing. This month we saw a 5x increase in content sharing from across the app, a metric noticed by Kartic Rakhra! Is there any other social app that gives you 'happiness'? I would love to learn about your 'happy' experiences of social media :)
