Did you know we have a Cultural Resources lab located at Historic Sandusky in Lynchburg, Virginia? This lab is where we process and analyze artifacts from our archaeology projects across Virginia and beyond. We invite you to take a tour of Historic Sandusky (by appointment) and the museum to learn more about the history of the site.

Drill a Soil Sample with us! Our team visited this site to evaluate the subsurface conditions for a proposed power substation. Utilizing their track mounted Mobile B51 drill rig and a split spoon sampler they were able to obtain ample soil samples to send back to the lab for testing. In the lab, these samples were put through index testing to determine the physical properties of the soils such as their strength, compressibility and expansion potential!
