Our first big step towards a plastic-free future was switching our on-property water to Proud Source Water. Sustainably sourced spring water bottled in infinitely recyclable aluminum packaging. ⁣ ⁣ We offer two complimentary bottles in every room with many refill stations available on the property. ⁣ ⁣ In collaboration with Replenysh, we're ensuring every aluminum can and bottle we collect is properly recycled and reused.⁣ ⁣

The Puerto Rican native has worked at a wide array of the brand’s properties including Hyatt Dorado Beach & Resort in his home country and Hyatt Regency Bonaventure in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ortiz’s additional experience throughout the Sunshine State brought him to locations in Tampa Bay, Orlando and Miami with multiple stints as Director of Operations. At Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa, he will oversee the property team, ensuring seamless performance and attention to detail. “I am thrilled to be a part of this iconic waterfront resort and the vibrant Key West community.
