Hyundai Motor America’s Amigos Unidos ERG hosted a Career Experience Day, where 60 students from Southern California colleges explored diverse career paths within Hyundai and engaged in hands-on workshops to learn each department’s functions.   In the finance session, members from HCA's Hyundai Capital Latinx-Hispanic Alliance ERG showcased the vehicle purchase lifecycle and how HCA and HMA services work together seamlessly. The students stepped into the role of credit analysts, evaluating mock credit applications and making approval decisions!   It was a great day of learning, hands-on experience, and inspiring the next generation! A group of HCA team members were invited to attend our global headquarters in Seoul, Korea. This Insight Trip provides team members with special global networking opportunities to strengthen business relationships, increase knowledge of Hyundai Capital’s business operations, and enhance understanding of how each regional branch contributes to the company’s success. While in Seoul, participants visited Hyundai Capital HQ, Hyundai Asan Factory, and Hyundai Motor Studio. They also were immersed in Korean culture through connections, cuisine, and the exploration of historic sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insa-dong, and Odusan Tower; as well as modern developments like Myeongdong, Hongdae, and more. Meet Monique Bryant, a valued team member of the Hyundai Capital America team for 12 years! Monique joined HCA in 2012 as a Customer Service Associate and has since achieved remarkable career advancement. She has successfully progressed through various management roles, including Payment Processing, Credit Disputes, and Lease End Servicing. Monique demonstrates exceptional commitment and a tireless pursuit of growth, consistently delivering results to the organization. Being part of a talented and supportive community has inspired her personally and professionally to build strong relationships with colleagues across HCA offices. Monique approaches challenges with a growth mindset, combining curiosity, problem solving and the drive to learn and improve. She breaks down complex challenges into smaller steps and is resourceful with solutions, focusing on opportunities instead of setbacks.  She is a firm believer in cherishing her time by having an intentional routine with activities that bring her joy. Whether it's reading, traveling, or self-care, she ensures that every day contains something to look forward to.  Monique’s advice: Take on challenges, be uncomfortable, build healthy relationships and foster good connections. Monique is Manager, Loyalty Operations in the Lease End Servicing (LEST) department and oversees daily operations, driving efficiency and excellence. 

The Hyundai Capital Latinx Alliance employee resource group visited Ontario Hyundai for a productive session focused on how to enhance the car-buying experience for Latino individuals and families. As part of HCA's annual Insight Trip, HCA team members from across the U.S., along with colleagues from Hyundai Capital Canada and Banco Hyundai Capital Brasil, visited the Kia America headquarters and Supernal office in Southern California. Kia provided valuable insights into their operations and Supernal shared the future of air space mobility and how they are working to accelerate a new zero-carbon mobility paradigm.
