IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries is developing the first guided missile using external optical guidance without a homing sensor. This Automatic Command to Line-of-Sight (ACLOS) tactical missile weighs less than five pounds, can be shoulder-launched and does not rely on global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), making it resilient to traditional #GNSS jamming or spoofing. IAI North America and Skyline Software Systems have signed a Teaming Agreement that formalizes their previous work together on uncrewed aerial systems and mapping. This Partnership is already battle-proven and is providing ground forces with critical near-real-time photogrammetry and 3D visualization capability. IAI’s UAS capability combined with Skyline’s software provides a strategic near-real-time mapping capability to be used by the warfighter and homeland security users.
