ICI Services Dover NH Employees Celebrate Quarter Century of Service to US Navy and Government Customers This fall, ICI Services Corporation celebrated its 25th anniversary with luncheons at the headquarters in Virginia Beach VA and an office in Dover NH. ICI Services was founded by Dennis M. “Mike” McCarley in 1999 to provide stellar services at reasonable rates to Government agencies. McCarley started the company with a small group of like-minded defense contracting veterans, initially operating out of an office in his basement outside DC. In 2015, ICI Services became an employee-owned company, with CEO Mike McCarley and several previous owners remaining to provide ongoing leadership. That year, ICI Services also earned its first ISO 9000 Quality Management certification. The company was recently recertified through 2027. To celebrate ICI’s quarter century milestone and thank the employee-owners who made it possible, ICI hosted luncheons at the headquarters and one of its largest offices. More than 45 people also gathered at the office in Dover NH, where ICI and Patrona are on a team providing support to the Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP) program. McCarley, ICI President Greg Bryant and Vice President Gus Weekes attended to congratulate fellow owners. Mike Amenti, ICI Operations Center Manager in Dover, said “The team in Dover put in hard work every day to give our customer top notch service.” He added it was wonderful “to get together to celebrate 25 Years of that incredible effort. I want to thank Willie Brown, Joseph Ostien, Freddy Reeser, Robert Purington and Nate Brackenridge who helped with cooking and serving. “

ICI Validator’s Cyber Expertise and Initiative Earns iStar Award Lee Eshelman, an ICI Qualified Navy Validator, received an iStar Employee Performance Award for his “invaluable” cyber expertise and initiative that enabled PMS 501 to obtain an Interim Authority to Test (IATT) the Fairbanks Morse Onboard system. This is a new ship monitoring system that combines machine learning, augmented reality, 5G standards and light-enabled internet (LiFi). PMS 501 is the US Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship Program Office. In a Letter of Appreciation, PMS 501 Program Manager Captain Matthew P. Lehmann wrote that Mr. Eshelman’s “expertise in cybersecurity and Navy cyber processes proved invaluable as the PMS 501 Program Office pursued IATT approval for a first-of-a-kind Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) monitoring system.” Captain Lehmann wrote that Lee “took the initiative to assume development and configuration management of an extremely immature package, knowing only that it was a time-sensitive and high-priority project that needed significant effort to complete in a minimum amount of time.” Dr. Tomi Adetunji, ICI Services Chief of Technology and the PM for PEO USC, said he is “immensely proud of the work Mr. Eshelman is doing, and I appreciate the recognition by the Customer of a job well done.”
