Honors Mechanical Engineering Student at the University of Delaware | Grand Challenge Scholar | Mathematics Minor
Over the summer, I supported the Quality Engineering Department at ILC Dover Astrospace . During my 10-week internship, I worked on several projects that will aid ILC Dover in their production and fulfillment of NASA space suits. Throughout this experience, I not only learned about the complexities that make up these multi-million dollar personal space ships, but gained a deeper understanding of how to create and carry out intelligent, well planned, and thorough engineering processes and tests, and how to handle real results. I would like to thank my supervisor, Drew Hamer, and Kevin Coster, Kevin Becker, and Derek Lord, who led me in my various projects, as well as Wesley Barrows, who connected me with ILC. I would also like to give a shout out to my fellow interns, Benjamin Sala and Ryder McCathern, as we all experienced our first internship together. I could not be more satisfied with my experience this summer, thank you ILC Dover Astrospace and family!
