We're looking for students to sign up for our Hybrid online/in-person Car Seat Technician Certification class. Tons of options! The deadline for sign-up is November 27. Police Agencies that have Certified CPS Technicians are the agencies we provide car seats to so that they can positively impact the needy within their communities. Some of the police agencies have adopted a program of "Car Seats instead of Citations" for indigent families to help them voluntarily comply with the law. The Hybrid Classes are the easiest for police and fire agencies because Tech Candidates can do the class from their home or agency. #trafficsafety #illinois #lawenforcement #police #carseat

Keep in the know about concerns by following CABT.
In the latest edition of the National Association of Counties (NACo) “County News”, Matthew Muir, Director of Policy at CABT, shared his perspective with county government officials across the country on the impact of increased truck weight on infrastructure as Congress considers proposals to allow heavier semi-trucks on our roads. The impact of federal legislation on local infrastructure—especially bridges—would impose an unfunded mandate on localities. County governments, which own more than 40,000 of these bridges, would face an estimated $20 billion price tag to replace them should heavier configurations become allowable—an impossible setback for localities and taxpayers. CABT’s national partners like NACo continue to urge Congress to oppose legislation that does not factor the burdensome costs for local governments when considering truck size and weight proposals.
