I finally received it! Seeing it in print is just... WOW. So many emotions, guys!!! 🥹🤗 If someone had told me a year ago that I’d be illustrating the FNRS News's cover, I would’ve laughed! But here we are, one year later, and as crazy as it sounds, this cover is made by Illumine! ✨ I’m so proud and grateful! 🙏 I still can’t believe I’ve been part of such an incredible project after only a year and a half in existence! Of course, I want to give a huge thanks to the F.R.S. - FNRS team (Céline Husson, Stéphanie Tuetey, and Eric Winnen) for trusting me with this project. 👏 I’d also like to congratulate the 15 new "Chercheurs qualifiés" this year: Anneline PINSON, @Brice Noël, @Christophe Charlier, Elise Franssen, Thomas Parmentier, Marco Lubrano Lavadera, Marie Fierens, David Gueorguiev, François Renoz, Paolo Tomassini, Coraline Radermecker, Sébastien Mouchet, Panagiotis Karras, PhD, Arnaud Vanden Broeck, and Ana Maria Barragan Montero. When it comes to combining science and art, Illumine is always there! 🎨🧪 Today, I set aside my computer and drawing sheets to create science-inspired face painting. It was such a pleasure to see the smiles on the children’s faces and to enjoy the fun, lighthearted atmosphere. 👦🧒Thank you to #DiscoverScience for the invitation! As you know, my passion is making science attractive. And, if we can spark a love of science in children, it’s incredibly rewarding 🤗

#IllumineOnTour – Step 7: yBIS - Young Belgian Immunological Society 1st Annual Meeting! 🎉 What an amazing day yesterday in Antwerp at the very first yBIS meeting! I had the pleasure of meeting incredible people 👥, diving into conversations about scientific illustration ✏️, and showcasing Illumine 💡. A huge thank you to the organizers 🙌 for the opportunity to represent Illumine, and to everyone who joined in by sharing your research keywords (some were definitely challenging!) 🧠. #IllumineOnTour Step 6: Immunity for Health by Flanders Vaccine What an amazing day in Gent! 🎉 I had the pleasure of live drawing each session of the Immunity for Health event, and wow—what a journey! 🤩 I learned so much about the future of vaccine production, from AI to immunity in aging. 🤯 Plus, I got to meet so many incredible, passionate people along the way. 😊 Huge thanks to the organizers, (Fran Van Heuverswyn and Brenda Hernández Bulnes ) for the opportunity! #IllumineOnTour Step 5: VIB PostDocs Day ✨ What an absolutely enriching day! 🌟 I had the great honor of being invited by VIB to share my (somewhat atypical) journey with post-docs from VIB and KU Leuven 🎓 I’m truly humbled to have been selected to talk about how you can make the leap from academia to creating your own dream job in scientific illustration. 💡✨ It’s always a joy to spread positive vibes and show that it is possible to follow your passion and craft a career that truly fits you! 💫 I also took the chance to highlight the power of communicating science clearly—especially through visuals! 🖼️🔬 Met some amazing people, had inspiring conversations, and of course, I couldn’t resist live-drawing the event! 🖌️🎤 So many new connections and ideas sparked! 💥 Huge thanks to the organizers for this incredible day 🙏
