Moving companies forward without leaving people behind. Manager training, organizational design and change management consulting for companies in transition.

I post a lot about IndeCollective. Being a part of the first cohort made a huge difference in how I work now vs. how I worked the first time I went out on my own. Even more important than the things I learned from Indecollective about running a business was the community I found. I got to meet Sam Lee last month. This month I got to meet Allison Davis. Somehow seeing both of them in person felt like reconnecting with old friends - hugs, laughter, shared history, common goals and interests. In fact all the Indefolk I’ve been lucky enough to meet in person (and there have been many - too many to tag) have all been instant friends, and people I know I can call on if I need something, and I know I’ll do the same for them. As an introvert, I think a lot about how community and connection is different for those of us who live on the quieter side, and don’t thrive in large groups of strangers. I think about how to enable connections on a smaller scale when I design events and programs, and how being introverted doesn’t mean you don’t want to connect. I’m so thankful for these virtual communities that have become real communities. Catlin O'Shaughnessy Coffrin - you’re next. Not sure how or when, but be ready. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Nice to see you here! I’m Claudia. I help companies grow and scale their operations while growing and scaling their cultures. I also teach people how to be amazing managers. I write a lot about being a more effective leader, making life easier, building important connections, dogs, weightlifting and travel. I’m happy to talk about all or any of these things. Maybe I can help you!

Amplifying Health Equity with Data and AI

I love following your consulting journey, Claudia Richman. You are one of my IndeCollective role models, for sure. I have worked in #oncology and had not heard of Lynch Syndrome, so I am doing some research right away -- sounds like another one of those conditions that is not well known and helping others learn more about it will help folks be empowered to advocate for better health outcomes. Thank you, and continued success to you! Here are some useful resources I found, check them out and share: https://lnkd.in/dPAfxEmg (CDC.gov) https://lnkd.in/dh5fbajr (Medlineplus) https://lnkd.in/dw3Ps9BV (American Cancer Society) https://lnkd.in/dMcPPzJx (National Society of Genetic Counselors) #healthequity #healthliteracy #womenshealth #amplifyhealthequity #lynchsyndrome #colorectalcancer #endometrialcancer

Moving companies forward without leaving people behind. Manager training, organizational design and change management consulting for companies in transition.

October 1 is a date when big things happen in my life: Diving into menopause. Starting a new business. Launching a new product. And this year I’m at my first conference as a participant in more years than I can count. October 1, 2019 started really early, as I had to be at the hospital long before sunrise to have a hysterectomy and oophorectomy (removal of my uterus and ovaries) as a preventative measure to avoid getting uterine or ovarian cancer after discovering that I have Lynch Syndrome (a genetic condition where you have a much higher than normal risk of many cancers). This meant that I went straight into surgically induced menopause in my 40s. A year later, October 1 marked the first day of running my own consultancy We Grow Forward. I’d been independent before, but this time was different. I had a strong network, great experience, and got connected with IndeCollective, which gave me an amazing foundation to do things differently, resulting in a much smoother and much more rewarding transition from working for someone else to working for myself. Two years later Heather Corallo and I formally launched Starling Training’s Mindful Manager Training program. We’ve taken hundreds of managers through our 10 session virtual, synchronous program that helps individual contributors navigate the shift to management. I’m so proud of the impact we’ve had on countless individuals and organizations with this program. This year, Heather and I are at Fractional People People's #FPPIRL24. A gathering of consultants and coaches and trainers working in fractional roles to provide specialized expertise on “people topics” to companies large and small. We’ll be doing some planning, some networking, and hopefully having a lot of fun. While I go to conferences and retreats regularly, I’m usually the organizer. I’m looking forward to being on the other side and participating fully without worrying about all the details. And to picking up some tips to make the events I plan better. Happy anniversaries to me!

Founder & Principal Consultant at Elemental Revenue | Creator of "Sales Enablement Without a Sales Enablement Team" on Maven

✨ LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT ✨ Over the last 8+ years of working as an independent enablement consultant, I've seen the same growing pains repeat themselves over and over in revenue organizations. While I've made a living partnering with companies to take tackle those patterns head-on, there was one audience that wasn't getting much of the love: early-stage sales managers. Before they have an enablement team in place, before they have budget for external enablement resources, before they have TIME - they still have to find ways to train their reps while also joining calls and driving deals. So today, I'm launching my new course on Maven: Sales Enablement Without an Enablement Team. I developed this course as my love letter to all those early-stage sales managers: - the ones who had to keep rescheduling our 1:1s to put out client fires - the ones who were in so many calls, they don't actually start their work until 5pm - and the ones who always forgot to eat lunch For the early-stage sales manager who's tasked with doing it all, I'll show you how to reverse-engineer a plan to line up organic training, foster cross-functional collaboration (read: help), and make a budget case for more enablement resources next year. We're not building SKOs or evaluating sales methodologies here: we're literally duct-taping something together until help arrives. You will leave this course with an actionable plan you can apply immediately to get noticeable results by EOQ. Plus, we'll do two 1:1 coaching calls together to make sure your plan is enacted 💪 I've been working on this project for a long time behind the scenes, and am so excited to announce it today. Please share this post with anyone you think would benefit! You can find all the course details in the comments. PS - All enrollments through Oct 1 can take $100 off with the promo code EARLYBIRD1024 🙌
