  • Then they sent riot police to protect corporate greed. Now they send lawyers to rewrite history. But no matter how they try to criminalize resistance or silence the truth, we are #StillNoDAPL. The same forces behind the Dakota Access Pipeline weaponized the courts in the recent Energy Transfer v. Greenpeace verdict, using a multi-billion-dollar case to punish and intimidate those who exercised their rights to free speech, assembly, and advocacy against the destruction of Mother Earth. They failed to break us at Standing Rock, and they will fail to erase our fight now. This is bigger than one pipeline. It’s about the right to defend land, water, and future generations from destruction. It’s about the lengths extractive industries will go to maintain their power—whether through violence on the ground or abuse of the legal system. We’re not backing down. Stand with us and all those on the frontlines fighting injustice and extraction. #NoDAPL #WaterIsLife #ProtectTheProtectors #StopSLAPPs

  • Today, on International Transgender Day of Visibility, we celebrate the strength, joy, and brilliance of trans, two-spirit, and nonbinary relatives while recognizing that visibility alone is not enough. Trans communities continue to face violence, discrimination, and systemic oppression, but they also continue to lead, to heal, and to build futures rooted in liberation. Trans joy is resistance. Trans visibility is power. Trans liberation is community liberation. Let’s move beyond recognition and into action, amplifying trans voices, defending trans rights, and creating a world where everyone can live safely, authentically, and with dignity. #TransDayOfVisibility #TransJoy #TransLiberation

  • 🚨 Standing Rock Chairwoman Condemns Greenpeace Verdict 🚨 Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s Chairwoman Janet Alkire has condemned the jury verdict in the Energy Transfer SLAPP lawsuit against Greenpeace, calling it a dangerous attack on free speech and Sioux Nation Treaty rights. “Greenpeace did not manipulate Standing Rock, but Energy Transfer has manipulated Morton County.” Chairwoman Alkire highlighted the long history of the Dakota Access Pipeline crossing unceded Treaty lands, the violent crackdown on water protectors, and the secrecy surrounding the trial. She compared the brutal police response at Standing Rock to civil rights-era violence, noting that Native veterans were attacked while out-of-state security forces were protected. The court has refused to release transcripts or documents related to Energy Transfer’s safety record, raising concerns about judicial bias. “DAPL is a dangerous pipeline... Energy Transfer destroyed Tribal burials as identified by our cultural experts, and committed violence against our people.” The Greenpeace verdict sets a chilling precedent for Indigenous rights, protests, and environmental activism, as Standing Rock continues to demand accountability. #StillNoDAPL #MniWiconi #WaterIsLife #ProtectFreeSpeech Read chairwoman Alkire’s full statement at https://lnkd.in/gdtnx4cp

  • 💧 Water is life 💧 For Indigenous Peoples, protecting water means protecting entire ecosystems, languages, and ways of life. When our waters thrive, so do our lands, our relations, and our languages—because biodiversity and linguistic diversity are deeply connected. Colonial systems and corporations continue to threaten what our ancestors have always safeguarded, but our people remain steadfast in protecting this source of life of living relatives. On #WorldWaterDay, we honor all water protectors who defend our sacred waters as well as the Indigenous language warriors that carry forward and protect our knowledge systems so they can too, thrive and flow just like our waters. 🌊✊🏽 #WaterIsLife #LanguageIsMedicine #WaterProtectors

  • The trial verdict is in. A jury found Greenpeace International and two Greenpeace entities in the US liable for over US$ 660 million combined in Energy Transfer’s meritless SLAPP lawsuit. Energy Transfer Partners tries to erase Indigenous leadership from Standing Rock's history. We know the truth - our movement was born from prayer+ceremony, led by Native women + youth. No corporation can silence us. #WaterIsLife #WeWillNotBeSilenced #StopBigOilBullies #ShutDownDAPL

  • 🌲 Our forests are more than land—they are our relatives, our ancestors, and the foundation of our ways of being. Protecting them is not just a choice; it is our responsibility, one that has sustained life since time immemorial. Yet colonial systems continue to sever these sacred bonds, turning living forests into mere commodities. Carbon markets and other false solutions do not protect our lands—they commodify them, allowing destruction elsewhere while threatening our sovereignty, knowledge, and livelihoods. Climate justice will never come from market schemes but rather in the restoration of our relationships with the land and Indigenous stewardship at the center. #InternationalDayOfForests #IndigenousSovereignty #NoFalseSolutions #NoCarbonMarkets #ForestsAreRelatives

  • 🌱 As the Spring Equinox balances light and dark, we are reminded that growth follows rest, and renewal comes with harmony. This season is a reflection of the cycles that have sustained our ancestors—where balance, respect, and connection to Mother Earth guide us forward. 🌸💛 Let us honor Mother Earth’s awakening and the dreams we carry for a thriving future. May our spirits align with the rhythms of the land, and may we walk with humility and gratitude into this season of renewal. 🌿 #SpringEquinox #SeasonOfRenewal
