"As sales growth of battery-electric vehicles (#EVs) has slowed amid looming regulatory deadlines in the EU and the U.S., there’s an intermediary technology to ease customers’ range anxiety and cost concerns while still advancing the transition to full #electrification: the extended-range EV." So say  McKinsey & Company's Paul Hackert and Dr. Anna-Sophie Smith. While extended-range EVs are gaining momentum in China, that's not the case in the US or Europe, the authors say.
