Inflection AI is a public benefit corporation leveraging our world class large language model to build the first AI platform focused on the needs of the enterprise. Inflection AI was re-founded in March of 2024 and our leadership team has assembled a team of kind, innovative, and collaborative individuals focused on building enterprise AI solutions. We are an organization passionate about what we are building, enjoy working together and strive to hire people with diverse backgrounds and experience. Our first product, Pi, provides an empathetic and conversational chatbot. Pi is a first public instance of building from our 350B+ frontier model with our sophisticated fine-tuning (10M+ examples), inference, and orchestration platform. We often have guest speakers at Inflection AI and some of these are open to the public. They tend to expand our thinking about the science, engineering, and design/UX of AI systems. Yesterday's talk by Tobias Rees, definitely challenged my conceptions of how we think about and develop AI. On the surface the abstract was already heady: delve into the transformative potential of generative AI and how it challenges long-held distinctions between human and machine, thought and algorithm, and creativity and computation. Discover how generative AI is not just a tool, but a powerful force reshaping our perspectives and redefining what it means to be creative in the age of algorithms. In the details, we really get to models of human agency with augmentation and ways to shift the dichotomy of human-machine to a broader spectrum.

Lots to follow up on as I organize my thoughts from the AI Action Summit here in Paris. Very much appreciated the discussion on our panel with Jim Steyer , Reid Hoffman, and Chris Lehane on the Future of AI. One of the more thought provoking comments came from Rob Reich, who posited that the Turing Test was now problematic because it focuses our attention on creating a system that can adequately lie and pretend it's a human being in contrast to focusing our attention on creating AI that augments and supports people in their daily lives; something supports human agency.
