Join me as I lead the opening plenary with my colleagues at NCTSN's All-Network Conference 📚 Gender-affirming care has been shown to be life-saving for transgender and gender diverse youth, and it is recognized as a standard of care by all major medical associations. However, misinformation about this care is increasingly widespread, and access is becoming even more significantly limited. We are so excited for our first ever in person training with the Family Acceptance Project for Santa Clara County Behavioral Health Services next month! Personally, it's been an amazing experience partnering with The Q Corner in my hometown of San Jose, CA to expand family-based support and quality care for LGBTQ+ children, youth and their families. After years of virtual training, we're looking forward to being in community for a day of training on April 23rd!
