On September 17, 1999, InLiquid was launched. We started as an online career resource for Philadelphia’s visual artists, working to connect artists with opportunity, the public, and each other. The years since have brought transformation, with the opening of the InLiquid Gallery and the expansion of exhibition programming into alternative gallery spaces throughout Philadelphia. Over the past 25 years, we’ve worked with over 1,000 artists, facilitated over 750 exhibitions, curated shows for over 40 venues, and developed countless connections within our arts community, and we can’t wait to do more! Though times change, our mission stays the same - InLiquid makes the contemporary visual arts culture of the Philadelphia region more accessible, working to support artists, unite communities, and nurture the public’s appreciation of the visual arts. As a non-profit charitable organization, your support is critical to making our many programs and services possible. Your donation to InLiquid builds a culture where art is accessible to all and artists can thrive. You can donate at inliquid.org/donate ! ❤️ Thank you for your support! ❤️

At almost 100 years old, Dirty Franks is one of Philadelphia’s oldest and most beloved bars. If you’ve ever enjoyed a drink at the legendary institution, you know the vibe - cramped booths, cash only, tchotchkes, and great conversation with friends old and new. But did you know that the north wall of the bar has been a pioneering alternative art space since the 1950s? Off the Wall Gallery - which operates inside the bar, held its first formally organized exhibition in 1978, and continues to organize exhibitions. As we celebrate InLiquid’s 25th anniversary, we’re excited to collaborate with Off the Wall Gallery for an exhibition of work by InLiquid Member Artists, titled INLIQUID TOASTS 25 - featuring over 60 artworks by 34 InLiquid member artists! The exhibition is now open and on view through September 20. You can learn more and purchase artwork in the show here: https://lnkd.in/epEYkbYX
