📣 Please join us in congratulating Willis Cantey for being named Entrepreneur of the Year by fellow Charleston entrepreneurs at the Annual Founder's Ball earlier this month! Willis is the CEO of Cantey Tech Consulting, one of our new sponsors for the 2024 InnoVision Awards! #innovation #entrepreneurs #southcarolina #tech #business #charleston The Harbor Entrepreneur Center
It was a night to remember at our Annual Founder's Ball this past Friday, as we recognized Willis Cantey as The Entrepreneur of the Year 🏆 As Chairperson of the The Harbor Entrepreneur Center, I have the distinct privilege and opportunity to showcase our great community and the entrepreneurs who impact the growth here in Charleston. The uniqueness of this award is that it is not a lifetime achievement award. It recognizes the individual who has achieved one of the greatest entrepreneurial accomplishments over the past year. It's voted on by the entrepreneurs of Charleston, and only they are allowed to nominate individuals. And let me tell you, Willis has had one of those years! It has been his vision, leadership, and drive that sets Willis apart and why we choose him for the 2024 Awardee. Through his dedication, perseverance, and ability to keep raising the bar, Willis has once again proven what it means to excel as a business leader. Please join me in congratulating our Charleston Entrepreneur of the Year, Willis Cantey! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Special thanks to Patrick Bryant, Grady Johnson, Ryan Fiorini, John Osborne, Kim McManus and our entire HEC Forum Members, Mentors and Partners

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the outpouring of support has been nothing short of extraordinary. 2024 InnoVision Awards Finalist Blue Ridge Heating & Air is one shining example of resilience and compassion. Though based in Greenville, their original office in Brevard, NC, was hit hard. With employees facing power outages, no cell service, and a lack of drinking water, co-owners Chris Davidson and Ben Lagrange quickly mobilized sending essential supplies to their team and are preparing for a second wave of aid on Monday. 💡 Blue Ridge Heating and Air is a finalist in the Technology Application Award category for their innovative AirGuard system, which monitors indoor air quality. Following recent flooding, interest in their AirGuard mold sensor has surged. ➡ Read more about that story and other innovation news in today's newsletter: https://lnkd.in/ekMrB6YN 📣 Stay in the know—sign up for our bi-weekly newsletter and be the first to hear about innovation updates across the state: https://lnkd.in/evyFmkQB #Innovation #Resilience #HurricaneRelief #InnoVisionFinalist #BlueRidgeHeatingAndAir #AirGuard #TechnologyForGood #fuelingSCinnovation #StartupGVL City of Greenville, South Carolina
