Last week, we were so inspired by the moving discussion at our second annual Community Conversations event, focused on the intersection of housing and health. Even if you couldn't join us for last week's discussion about housing and health, here are things we all can do to drive real change for our neighbors and in our community. ✅ Vote: Support Proposition 5 and Berkeley's Measure W to strengthen housing and healthcare initiatives. ✅ Spread the Word: Share how stable housing leads to better health outcomes and stronger communities with your friends and family. ✅ Get Involved: Volunteer, donate, or attend our upcoming events. ➡️ https://hubs.li/Q02TKWsl0 Together, we can create a future where everyone has access to a safe home and quality healthcare.

Congratulations to Alex Weinberg, Selma Osman, Matt Renfro, Amy Zhang, Jesse Bieder for their winning "Robin Wood Village" project at the UC Berkeley James R. Boyce Affordable Housing Studio Symposium 2024! Their innovative design near the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station uses modern construction methods to create supportive, welcoming housing for young families and transition-age youth. We're grateful to this interdisciplinary team for their creativity in tackling our housing challenges AND for donating their $500 prize to Insight Housing. Your generosity is an investment in real housing solutions for our neighbors! Thank you! 💜
