Dry Bulb Temperature (DBT): The air temperature measured by a thermometer freely exposed to the air. 2. Wet Bulb Temperature (WBT): The lowest temperature air can reach by the evaporation of water. It's measured using a thermometer with its bulb wrapped in a wet cloth. 3. Dew Point Temperature: The temperature at which air becomes saturated with moisture and dew can form. It's a direct indicator of moisture content in the air. 4. Relative Humidity (RH): A percentage measure of the current amount of moisture in the air compared to the maximum it can hold at that temperature. 5. Enthalpy: A measure of the total energy in a system, in HVAC, it combines the sensible and latent heat in the air. 6. Grains of Moisture: A unit used in the HVAC industry to measure the amount of water vapor in the air, expressed in grains per lbs of dry air. One drop of water contains about 4.5 grains.
