Throughout 2024, we have proudly continued our partnership and advocacy with Special Olympics Colorado (SOCO). Recently, our Denver colleagues attended the Hall of Fame luncheon, an inspiring event that celebrates the success of SOCO’s impactful programs over the year. Our team was especially honored to connect with athlete Ryan Stratton, who shared his powerful personal experiences and the support he has received through this incredible organization. Our New England Ocean Marine team had a great time at the Mariners Club of Massachusetts' 2024 David C. DuBois Memorial Golf Tournament! One of our two Intact foursomes won the scramble, shooting 11 under! Congratulations to the winning team: Intact’s Chris Connolly and Scott O'Connor along with Douglas Concannon from Boston Marine Insurance Services, LLC, and Brendan Crawford from Carey Richmond & Viking Insurance. Intact’s Meredith Atwood and Chris O’Connell also joined the fun and had wonderful day of golf and networking with many of our agents including Sean O’Leary from Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services, LLC, Craig Nichols, CPCU, AMIM from International Special Risks, and Chris Richmond, CIC, CMIP, AAI from Allen Insurance and Financial. What a great day on the green at the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association’s (MMTA) first-ever golf outing in Plymouth, MA! Our own Meredith Atwood from the Ocean Marine team enjoyed a round alongside Evie Beauchesne from Admiralty Insurance Agency, Inc., Marie Hayward, President MMTA and her husband Bruce Glabe. Beyond the friendly competition, this event raised funds to fuel MMTA’s scholarship fund and support nonprofit youth boating and fishing programs statewide. A shoutout to the MMTA team for a memorable and meaningful event!

Earlier this month, volunteers from our Plymouth office hosted the second annual Community Dinner for the Jeremiah Program, their #CommunityEngagement Partner, at their Minneapolis campus. Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que catered the event that fed 25 moms and 25 kids. Goodie bag's were also gifted to each child. We are proud to partner with the Jeremiah Program, a national organization with a mission to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time. Kudos to our colleagues for demonstrating the spirit of generosity. #InsuranceGivesBack
