    Just wrapped up work on Ford HUB Central Campus Building, one of the most challenging BIM projects I’ve been part of. This experience pushed my skills to the next level – both technically and in terms of perseverance. There were countless hurdles along the way, from tight spaces to tight deadlines. All this forced me to think creatively and adapt quickly. The real takeaway for me is the importance of resilience and coordination. I couldn’t have done it without the great team here at Intentio Innovations. It’s project like these that remind me how much growth happens when you’re outside your comfort zone. On to the next challenge!

We’re thrilled to be working with a new client, using our Trimble total station to precisely shoot in anchor bolts for a 500,000 sq. ft. building. Forming new partnerships is always energizing, and we’re eager to build a strong, lasting relationship with this client.     Every project has its unique challenges, and the Hudson Tower in downtown Detroit is no different. Intentio Innovations is proud to be handling the plumbing and electrical (Jason Magill) fit-out on the hotel levels, ensuring precision and quality every step of the way. Navigating the division between the core and shell and fit-out scopes has required some creative problem-solving, but our team is up for the task! With our field team (David Stevens) scanning the building, we’re ensuring that our layout leads to a smooth and seamless installation. One level at a time, our coordination teams are pushing through, bringing this exciting project to life! Here's a snapshot of the Hudson Tower from Comerica Park, home of the Tigers, who are riding an amazing winning streak as they head towards the playoffs!     I watched the sunrise yesterday while setting up my total station. I was on site to lay out some underground stub ups for one of our longstanding clients on a project in Detroit. I utilized my Trimble Inc. RTS 873 combined with survey control to guarantee accuracy of all locations I marked. This was my first time in almost 8 years laying out underground on a mud mat.     Today, I captured as-built conditions for an oil interceptor before it was buried. With the Trimble Inc. X7, it was a breeze. I also used the built-in laser to georeference the point cloud, making alignment super easy! The scan dropped right into the model and the team began using it immediately. If you are interested in scanning to capture existing or as-built conditions on your project, don’t hesitate to contact me!
