The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy has deemed May 5-11 Drinking Water Week! Drinking Water Week was established by the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and its partners, and it provides a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives. This year also marks a historic milestone – the 50th anniversary of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). At ICS, we realize the vital role geomembranes play in keeping our drinking water safe.
