Tasks include: ✔️Assisting with data entry, sorting, filing, and analysis; working to resolve issues directly with participants; providing detailed status reports to stakeholders and other ad-hoc reports on the program; and providing monthly training to participants. ✔️Providing document processing support, including but not limited to data gathering, compilation, analysis, filing, and report submission. ✔️Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing data received (including but not limited to participant applications, location submission forms, and re-certification checklists) for validation. Intrepid is now hiring a Senior Technical Writer! The successful candidate will join our team in supporting the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD(HA)). Tasks will include: ✔️Developing clear, concise, and coherent written content that effectively communicates capability requirements, shortfalls, and proposed solutions. ✔️Facilitating the review and coordination of JCIDS documents with relevant stakeholders incorporating feedback and revisions as needed. ✔️Completing various large and complex editing and writing projects as well as solve problems of varied scope and complexity associated with the MHS, Joint Capability Areas (JCAs), Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processing, and Programming and Budgeting. Intrepid is now hiring an Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Software Product Owner (PO)! The successful candidate will lead a team of Agile software developers in supporting a government project office. Tasks will include: ✔️Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. ✔️Supporting the team in the development of acceptance criteria for software updates and be responsible for their verification. ✔️Working with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint. Intrepid was proud to be an Honor Sponsor at this year's AUSA / USA Patriots Softball Game! While the teams didn’t get to play, we still had a wonderful time dining and connecting with players from both teams. Each year, proceeds from the event go toward a weeklong kids camp hosted by the USA Patriots for kids who are also amputees or without a limb, all expenses paid. The organization's veterans serve as coaches and mentors for the children, teaching them adaptive techniques and life lessons. This week, Intrepid had the pleasure of hosting Spike McRoy and Madeline Mullins from Morgan Stanley, who delivered a compelling presentation on the Psychology of Money. They shared valuable insights into how emotions shape our financial decisions and explored the five distinct financial personality types: Spenders, Savers, Risk-Averse, Gamblers, and Flyers. Key takeaways included understanding the impact of emotions like fear, gratitude, and guilt on our spending habits, the importance of a financial plan aligned with personal values, and strategies to manage financial decisions during market fluctuations. Spike and Madeline also emphasized the significance of effective communication about money with family and friends. Not only did they provide our employees with these key insights, but they also treated everyone to a delicious breakfast from Little Rosie's. We look forward to hosting Morgan Stanley again in the future and take pride in providing our employees with resources to keep them financially healthy.
