Back in November of 2023, Iowa Total Care and the Centene Corporation Foundation announced a $2.55 million commitment over two years to Central Iowa Shelter and Services (CISS). This investment for an on-the-ground Housing Command Center and a mobile application is designed to provide resources such as housing, food, and medical care to prevent homelessness. Doc the Dog represented Iowa Total Care well by personally signing our newest interactive storybook, Susie’s Big Day! Susie’s Big Day promotes early childhood literacy through an interactive story that readers can color in to bring the storyline to life.
