🎥 Final Day Highlights: Solidarity for Change, Regional Gathering & Youth Forum 2024 In an incredible show of solidarity, over 100 representatives from our Member Associations—Executive Directors, youth leaders, and collaborative partners from 21 countries across East, Southeast Asia, and Oceania—gathered in Iloilo, Philippines, to advance regional priorities for Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice (#SRHRJ). On the final day, we emphasized sustainability and resilience through strategic partnerships, resource mobilisation, and social enterprise, with discussions throughout the week on community engagement, countering opposition, social movements, a life course approach to #SRHR, and climate resilience. The event wrapped up with a vibrant Cultural Solidarity Night, celebrating diversity and collaboration. Dennis T. Ventilacion, representative of the Iloilo provincial government, highlighted the crucial partnership with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) to provide essential resources, information, and reproductive health services. “In the face of societal, economic, and political challenges, we are at a crossroads where populist policies limit choices and freedoms, our collective voice calls for change—demanding a world with universal healthcare and reproductive rights,” shared Jon Cerlan Bangoy, FPOP Iloilo Chapter local board president. Day 3: Solidarity for Change Regional Gathering & Youth Forum 2024 Today marked an exciting milestone as representatives from our Member Associations, youth leaders, collaborative partners, and stakeholders came together to celebrate the launch of the Family Planning and Wellness Clinic in the municipality of #Pavia, Iloilo province! 🎉 "Through our collaboration with the Family Planning Organization of the Philippines (FPOP) Iloilo Chapter, grounded in our shared commitment to sexual and reproductive health rights (#SRHR), we are extending essential services to over 70,000 community members, ensuring care reaches those who need it most,” said Harold Alfred P. Marshall, Regional Director, Commission on Population and Development (#CPD) Region VI. "We’re excited to launch our new clinic, an extension of our main facility, through a collaboration between CPD, a government agency, and the FPOP Iloilo Chapter.
