Impossible only means that you haven't found the solution yet! Not long ago, it seemed impossible to add polymer granules into pressurized oil pipelines without additional liquid carriers. The Iris Tech team proved otherwise. We believed strongly in the dream of a dry pipeline product, and worked hard developing a dry DRA that dissolved immediately and spread quickly throughout the pumped medium. Three recent case studies prove we weren’t just dreaming. We achieved results. - DRA for crude oil: Increased pipeline throughput from 27,689 barrels per day to 54,792 barrels per day, pressure reduction from 814 to 682 psi, DRA performance – 79,5%, Pipeline length 43 miles. - DRA for gas condensate: Increased pipeline throughput from 127,566 barrels per day to 248,270 barrels per day. DRA Performance 74.2%. Pipeline length is 261 miles - DRA for Heavy Crude Oil: Increased throughput from 54,721 to 70,205 barrels per day at constant pressure, DRA performance of 40%. Pipeline length is 68 miles.
