A new laboratory, with the mission to advance diagnostics testing technology, is being setup at Atlas University (Istanbul, Türkiye). In line the University’s vision to be an innovative and internationally recognized leading university that guides education, science and research, Dr. Yusuf ELGORMUS, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, has brought in the latest in multiplex label-free biosensing technology from iRiS Kinetics. Paired with a customized M2 iFOUR spotter, Atlas University researchers and collaborators can now easily produce their own iRiS chips for the multiplex and label-free detection of biomarkers, as well as bacteria and viruses. Stay tuned for exciting updates as the lab’s operations get underway! Atlas Üniversitesi, Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş, Selim Unlu, Claude Dufresne

It’s been a great day at #ADLM connecting and discussing micro dispensing and the latest in label-free binding measurements. So many applications are enabled by these technologies, from multiplex ELISA in all sorts of formats, to loading biosensors with proteins and logos, to profiling antibodies for best binding properties… Stop by booth 3846 and chat with Professor Selim Unlu , founder of iRiS Kinetics , and Mario Nitzsche , M2-Automation GmbH . Looking forward to Day 2 today!

The measurement of long dissociation rates has been difficult with existing technologies. The new iRiS Kinetics system allows for very stable binding measurements over long periods of time. This allows for very accurate evaluation of the Koff. Professor Selim Unlu (Boston U, and iRiS Kinetics CEO), will be at axiVEND booth 3846 during #ADLM2024 in Chicago Jul 30 - Aug 1. In addition to stability, iRiS technology can leverage the power of #microarrays for multiplex measurements. We will show how easy it is to prepare your own multiplex iRiS chips for label-free binding measurements, using an iFOUR spotter from M2. Super Mario and Craig will be demonstrating that process. See you soon!

Bioinnovations Symposium: Catalyzing Collaborations will showcase novel research on biomaterials for human health, bringing together academic scientists with industry. The symposium will be held June 11-12, 2024, in Manchester, NH, and will feature a tour of the Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute’s BioFabUSA Tissue Foundry, as well as dozens of high-level technical talks. On June 12, keynote speaker, Dr. M. Selim Ünlü, will present, "Interferometric Reflection Imaging Sensor – A journey of innovation and entrepreneurship in an academic laboratory". Here, we tell the story of innovation for a simple yet elegant technology – Interferometric Reflectance Imaging Sensor (IRIS), research and experiences of multiple generations of science and engineering students, starting with basic research with applications in mind, catching the entrepreneurship fever, benefiting from training opportunities and following their dreams to success stories. https://lnkd.in/ehczuEGP

Iris Kinetics technology empowers scientists to explore complex binding interactions with precision, speed, and label-free convenience. Leveraging the power of #microarrays, in a single experiment (lasting less than an hour), researchers can characterize the binding affinities of small or large biomolecules to multiple probes. The technology is transparent to DMSO, resulting in clean binding data for small molecule drug candidates investigations. This approach is most powerful when a profile of binding affinities is needed. Visit us in Philly at #BPS2024 #axiVEND booth 709, you’re in for an exciting glimpse into the future for diagnostic applications! #m2automation #drugdiscovery

Struggling to obtain accurate molecular binding data with SPR or BLI? iRiS Kinetics technology is unaffected by DMSO, ensuring no bulk effect and a consistently smooth baseline. This stability allows for extended experiments, enabling the measurement of slow off rates. The technology employs an imaging technique to observe molecular thickness progression, facilitating simultaneous measurements of multiple binding curves. With one molecule immobilized on the iRiS chip, it supports advanced multiplex measurements - ideal for analyzing a molecule’s binding against various targets. Discover unlimited possibilities!
