In the wake of Hurricane Helene, the Irreverent Warriors/Grunt Style Foundation tribe stepped up in a BIG way. Over 150 IW/GSF members from Tennessee and across the country answered the call, leaping into action to deliver critical water and diaper supplies to families in need. When disaster strikes, our IW/GSF veteran community doesn’t hesitate to rally together and provide the support that’s so desperately needed. We’re proud of the dedication, strength, and selflessness of our IW/GSF members who worked (and continue to work) tirelessly to bring relief where it was needed most. This is what the IW/GSF mission is all about—coming together, lifting each other up, and showing that no one is left behind. As a part of our mission to improve mental health and prevent veteran suicide, Irreverent Warriors/Grunt Style Foundation hosted a traditional Oglala Lakota Inipi Sweat Lodge in Missouri a few weeks ago. This was a unique opportunity to experience a profound, sacred healing practice that has been used for generations to foster mental and emotional purging and reset. A sweat lodge is a space where individuals can release toxins—both physical and emotional—and return to a state of clarity and balance. It has been known to bring about deep introspection, emotional release, and a renewed sense of purpose. Free scholarships were offered to all Irreverent Warriors/Grunt Style Foundation members for this experience. Over the past two decades, science has made incredible strides in understanding mental health. However, we all know it’s not happening fast enough, and sadly, suicides among our veteran brothers and sisters continue to rise. For thousands of years, indigenous cultures have used countless practices to help warriors heal, recover, and reintegrate into their tribes. Unfortunately, our modern culture has lost touch with many of these healing traditions. By looking at humanity’s past with humility and curiosity, we can rediscover insights that could help us in our own journeys of recovery and connection. #irreverentwarriors #gruntstylefoundation #alternativemodalities #healing #sweatlodge #veteranmentalhealth

When Hurricane Helene slammed into Tennessee and North Carolina, the Irreverent Warriors/Grunt Style Foundation family didn’t hesitate. In the face of devastation, we mobilized instantly, gathering supplies and collaborating with local groups to coordinate critical resupply missions. Over the past week, 100+ Irreverent Warriors/Grunt Style Foundation team members leapt into action, leading convoys to deliver water, diapers and food to the hardest-hit counties. Grunt Style sent truckloads of free clothing that is currently being distributed via IW/GSF in partnership with the VFW at their posts.
