Seth is an expert at building complex user-facing features, with an eye toward balancing flexibility and usability. Prior to joining ISeeChange, he led the in-house development team at IPVM, an independent authority on physical security research and news. Welcome Seth!

Give your students a chance to be climate scientists in their own communities! Involve your students in a citizen science project that will help them learn data collection skills while also helping to document climate change and how it manifests in their communities. When they collect and share data as part of the ISeeChange project, they contribute to a global community of people documenting changes in their local environment, weather, and climate to allow us all to develop a clearer picture of the long-term trends and patterns indicative and reflective of climate change. Community members use this information to track climate changes over time and how this impacts daily life. I learned about this cool project from fellow CEE-Change Fellow Caroline Nickerson, whose deep passion for citizen science was evident when she started discussing her work at SciStarter.
