#TechTuesday: In the U.S., there is approximately 6.5 million people older than 65 that live with Alzheimer's Disease. Steroids are often used to treat neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, but the side effects prevent this treatment option as a long-term solution. IU researchers have developed small molecule analog peptides that suppress inflammation and degeneration while decreasing the risk of negative side effects.
