I am pleased to share that Cummins Inc. achieved strong sales and profitability in the third quarter, with revenues of $8.5 billion. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in the third quarter were $1.4 billion, or 16.4% of sales, compared to $1.2 billion, or 14.6% of sales, a year ago. I am incredibly proud and deeply appreciative to our employees for their work to continue advancing our Destination Zero strategy as we deliver innovative technologies for our customers while supporting and caring for our communities. #FunFactFriday The Indiana Chamber of Commerce's fourth annual Coolest Thing Made IN Indiana competition is back and combines the state’s proud manufacturing tradition and passion for basketball. New this year, the chamber is joined by Indiana Destination Development Corp. in putting on the program. Entered companies are facing off in a single-elimination bracket format with winners to be chosen through public fan voting. Each winner advances to the next round until it's down to the coveted final four makers and an ultimate Coolest Thing Made IN Indiana champion. For fairness, the matchups will be generated via an online randomizer. Due to the number of entrants, some entrants will receive byes to the second round. Voting tipped off Oct. 31 and concludes Dec. 5. Votes may be cast online at https://lnkd.in/gsqtHKxf. Each year on Centra’s annual Celebrate Centra Day, a local nonprofit organization is awarded $2,500 to support their incredible work within our communities. These nonprofits are nominated by our team members, reviewed by the Centra Foundation Board and committee, and then a final selection is made. This year, the chosen nonprofit from the Seymour Centra Credit Union is Girls Inc. of Jackson County Indiana ! We had the pleasure of presenting our check to them last week.
