RALLY, the largest global cross-sector innovation conference, is happening again in downtown Indianapolis next week! We are pumped by the lineup of keynote speakers and panels, not to mention the IN-Prize Pitch Competition and discovering startups in the Demo Arena! Christopher (Toph) Day, CEO of Elevate Ventures and Rally Visionary, is again getting the word out that Indiana is the best place to start a tech business when Rally opens its doors for its second year. Day and Elevate have been focused on how Rally will impact quality of life for people in Indiana—and beyond. “If we support entrepreneurs, they can have a tremendous impact on their communities. Every new tech job creates 4.3 additional jobs. Those people buy homes and contribute to the economy, but most importantly, they can more easily achieve whatever their definition of success is. There’s so much joy in being a part of that, it’s not even measurable.” Learn more about Rally in our Entrepreneurship Indiana Yearbook and at Rally's site: https://lnkd.in/eMebCMwN #Indiana #Rally2024 #Entrepreneurship #techindustry #EntrepreneurshipIN

Every office need friendly visitors like these! It was so nice to have Indiana Canine Assistant Network’s volunteers and service dogs stop by our office again this morning! We met with them last year and learned more about their mission. ICAN’s service dogs empower Indiana children, adults and veterans by fostering independence, breaking barriers and helping them overcome challenges. Over five weeks, the IEDC traveled the state to put on four Indiana Talent Forums. Our forum at Ball State University was our final stop of the year. These forums brought together diverse groups of business leaders, educational professionals and strategic partners from multiple regions to help Indiana keep its best homegrown talent right in the Hoosier state. We're so thankful to everyone who made each stop so successful and hope to create more gatherings like this in years to come. Indiana's workforce is ready for the careers of the future!
