She recently joined James River Cardiology from George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC, where she completed an advanced fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Before this, she completed a Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at UTMB Health, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Mulla is highly skilled in managing many heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, heart block, bradycardia, atrial flutter, premature ventricular contractions, and ventricular tachycardia. She has a particular interest in the treatment and management of atrial fibrillation, leadless pacing, and novel technologies in cardiac pacing and defibrillation. Clinical interest: Invasive Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist Procedures she can perform: Electrophysiology (EP) Study, Catheter Ablations for Atrial fibrillation, Atrial flutter, SVT, PVCs and VT, Pacemaker Implantation, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) Implantation, Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT), Leadless Pacemaker Implantation, Physiological Pacing, & Cardioversion and Loop Recorder Implantation. Dr. Wazzan specializes in performing advanced ablation procedures, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), and ventricular tachycardia (VT) ablations. His proficiency extends to the implantation of a comprehensive range of cardiac devices, encompassing pacemakers, intracardiac defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy devices, cardiac contractility modulation devices, and Watchman devices for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation patients. Dr. Wazzan also demonstrates expertise in deploying leadless pacemakers in high-risk patients, highlighting his dedication to pioneering cardiac care. We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Gauravpal Gill to our team! 🎉 Meet Dr. Gill, a trained interventional cardiologist focused on teaming with you to provide tailored treatment options at different stages of heart disease. He is passionate about caring for patients with complex cardiac conditions, and specializes in minimally invasive transcatheter interventional procedures.   Dr. Gill started his medical training at the MedStar Washington Hospital Center, the largest hospital in the nation’s capital, and completed his interventional training at the prestigious Minneapolis Heart Institute. He provides care to patients with acute and chronic chest pain, heart failure, and heart valve disease. He performs complex coronary artery interventions, microvascular dysfunction testing, structural heart procedures, implant heart failure monitoring (CardioMEMS), and mechanical circulatory support devices.   Dr. Gill is also actively involved in research, and he frequently participates in national and international conferences. He has published several articles in top-tier medical journals, including the Journal of American College of Cardiology, JACC Cardiovascular Interventions, European Heart Journal – QCCO, European Heart Journal – ACVC, the American Journal of Medicine, and the American Journal of Cardiology.   Dr. Gill enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and hiking with his family and dogs in his free time. After his general cardiology training at Florida Atlantic University and interventional cardiology training at the University of Kentucky, he further honed his skills with a fellowship in Structural Heart Interventions at University Hospitals Cleveland. His clinical focus spans advanced interventional techniques such as complex coronary interventions and minimally invasive procedures like TAVR, MitraClip, TMVR, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman procedures. Saranapoom Klomjit, M.D. "Dr K" earned his M.D. in from Phramongkutklao Medical College, Mahidol University. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. K is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology). He also specializes in the treatment of basic to complex cardiac conditions ranging from congenital heart disease to life-threatening arrhythmias and the management and screening of peripheral vascular disease.
