JB Services was created in 2023 to fill a demand for skilled and reliable labour in Northwestern Ontario. The company serves to bridge the gap in the field between the technically sound geologist and the need to navigate the bush, heavy to light equipment, building requirements at exploration sites and mechanical malfunctions that come up on every project. Geologists are experts and you pay for their technical expertise, why not bring in an expert on the other problem areas that every exploration project faces? My name is Joe Baxter, owner of JB Services. I was born and raised in Northwestern Ontario. I am accomplished outdoorsman with experience on every type of off-road vehicle, as well as chainsaws and boats. With my strong navigation skills and curiosity for exploration, prospecting has come to me as second nature. On exploration sites general contracting skills come in handy, I have built core benches and racks for exploration projects. In my vast experience prior to starting JB Services, I have worked on projects ranging from electrical, to carpentry and plumbing. I have experience operating and maintaining small motors to heavy equipment. I maintain my rental equipment for JB Services and can trouble shoot problems in the field. JB Services offers reliable field rental equipment, heavy equipment operation, prospecting, project management and general contracting. Everything to support your strong technical team on an exploration site.
